Texas.
In 2000 I believe Al Gore won the popular vote because he got 2.5 million votes in Texas. I find it amazing that 2.5 million people voted for Gore even though he had no chance of winning that state.
If Kerry gets 38-41% of the vote in Texas, he will definitely win the popular vote. A recent poll by Survey USA has Kerry getting 37% of the vote in Texas.

i think anyone winning only the popular vote or only the electoral vote will be a much weaker president ...
many (most?) democrats never felt bush's pResidency was legitimate ...
