Every Kerry sign vanished last night....

In St. Clair County, Michigan, signs have been dropping like flies. Last night in our little town, EVERY Kerry sign bit the dust. On my way to work I found one lying in the street bent to shit, straightened it out and drove back home to put it in my yard.

I still believe the Visigoths are at the gate, though.

11. It shows that they are scared...

A sign does not influence anyones vote in a Presidential election, if you don't know who the canidates are before you go vote then you have been living under a rock! All the sign steeling shows that the Republicans are scared and feel the need to try to 'make the bad man go away' by steeling anything with Kerry's name on it. (or they could be seceretly building a shrine to Kerry and dont want the rest of their conservitive friends seeing their signs:) )

12. They're disappearing all over town here too

Mine was stolen Thursday night. They've been stealing bumper stickers off peoples cars for months. They only put a wad of chewed up gum on my boyfriend's Kerry bumper sticker. . .

Of course they're out of signs at the local Kerry headquarters, but when I went in with my sad story, they found an old cardboard Kerry one in the bag which we rigged up, and put a ton of Kerry bumper stickers on foam board next to it. My attitude is, if they take one, replace it with two.

OK, OK, I'm kidding, don't do that, you could kill somebody. But spreading dog poop around the sign, Super Glue on the sign, etc etc would be no lethal imaginitive ways of discouraging sign theft. Be creative!

It is simply a sign of how desperate these idiots truly are. Take heart, it means we're winning.

15. We did use electricity.

We covered it with Christmas lights. The cord is wrapped around a tree, and then goes into the house. They're gonna have to work hard to steal our sign again.

Aside from the ridiculousness of people going around stealing signs. campaigning and changing minds has come to an end. Anyone who is still undecided at this point probably would have a hard time deciding whether or not to run out of a burning building.

The only purpose of the signs now will be to show your support.

Don't know what is in the water in some parts of the country, but where I live, I see signs all over the place, even empty lots, and they stay there.
