Freepers have TOTALLY lost it |
|
Now they're calling the voter fraud hotline and complaining that the MSM is fraudulent. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1265024/posts#comment?q=1

And I'm sure the phone bank workers at the voter fraud hotline really appreciate fielding calls from these idiots over media polls, not voting/registration matters. :eyes:

"Nothing wrong with blocking ID. Our home phone is unlisted and thus always blocked. My cell-phone is generally blocked."
UM, NO, having an unlisted phone number is not the same thing as ID blocking. DER!

8. Yeah! Down with the pro-Bush mainstream corporate media! |
|
If they'd been doing their jobs instead of sticking their noses in every available Republican ass, we wouldn't even BE in Iraq right now. Why didn't they save the dipshit from his own fascist agenda!?
BIAS!!! BIAS!!!

Bush wouldn't even be in office right now. They ripped Gore to shreds in 2000 while giving * a total pass. And that was after they'd spent the previous 8 years lynching President Clinton.

9. I listened to Rush do his Kerry/OBL talking points, side by side.. |
|
comparision. I was at a business that had the radio on to Rush and was very amused by the analysis. Be prepared to hear the MSM, Andrea Mitchell etals parrot what rush was saying as their last ditch effort for the unchosen one.

12. I believe this type of harrasment is a federal offense, and... |
|
...there are 10,000 lawyers at the 866-OUR-VOTE line that could be used to sue people who are jamming it with fraudelent calls. So this is a mixed thing: it may waste time and money, but they could get it back and put FReepers in jail easily. It doesn't matter if they block caller ID; I'm pretty sure they could get the record back if it ends up going to court or to the criminal justice system.

...if you call an 800 number, right? It seems to me that the person paying for the call should know where the call is coming from.

22. Abstolutely correct.... |
|
... you can block it from Caller ID, but you can not block it from appearing on the recepient's telephone bill where, even though it was blocked as a caller ID, the full number will definitely be listed as part of the call summary.

The mainstream media is going to feel the bars of the vise closing in on both sides.
Democrats make the valid claim that the networks are so pro-corporation and pro-Bush that their output is inherently biased. As a result, we boycott what we consider to be propaganda.
Republicans, on the other hand, complain every time the networks actually let a shred of reality slip past the filter - they want their full-fledged, right-wing, pro-war propaganda machine, and they'll boycott until they get it.
A perfect example of such a collapse is the two-pronged attack on Sinclair: we boycotted because Stolen Honor is blatant propaganda, Sinclair had to concede (however reluctantly), and the right-wingers boycotted as a result of that concession.
Brilliant how the real world works, isn't it?
