Saw a very morose freeper this morning
I'm in Maui on business and went down to the hotel lobby today to use one of their computers to catch up on the latest.

There's another computer next to me and this guy comes racing up to it and starts clawing frantically at the grill below the keyboard. I guess he was trying to pull out the counter where he thought the keyboard was. The keyboard was actually sitting right there in front of him, right in front of the monitor. He was so frantic though that it took him a minute or two to find it! Immediately I thought, "This guy is a Repub. He's totally clueless."

So I peek over to see the first page he pulls up. It's "Drudge", of course. Then some right-wing politics pages, then Newsmax. With every page he pulled up he looked more and more depressed. It was great! Poor freeper. :P Glum and clueless - pretty much sums up most * supporters.

On a sidenote I did an informal bumpersticker poll since I've been here yesterday and I've seen a SLEW of "Kerry/Edwards" stickers and absolutely ZERO "*/Cheney" ones!!! There were a few "Support the Troops" ribbon stickers, but still no * ones. And this even included driving thru the parking lot at Costco! I did see a LOT of "War is not the answer" bumperstickers as well. Also a good sign for us.

And Dennis Kucinich was in Maui yesterday and turned out a crowd large enough to make the front page of the paper.

Kerry in a landslide!! :) :) :)

1. I drove to get a new key for me spouse's car. (Pain In The Gyro bread)
I got lost taking a short cut, forgetting that short cuts make for long journeys.

In the midst of Repuke central - southern central suburbs of Chicago, entire streets of blue Kerry signs. not a shrub to be seen. Awesome. Amazing! Made my day.
