Poll question: If Kerry wins the election, will President Howdy Doody give up power? |
|
I guess the past four years have made me paranoid, but I still cannot imagine the jerkoffs in the White House giving up power. I still think they have an ace up their sleeve and I think that ace has to do with the elections. Anyone else share my paranoia?
If Kerry wins the election, will Bush give up power?

2. There will be a terrorist attack... |
|
...absolutely mandating the need for martial law, which won't be lifted until the perpetrators are found. But since we'll be at war with Iran, the manpower to find the terrorists won't be available until 2012 or thereabouts...

in discussion yesterday-If bush does a power grab, no republican would ever be elected again. The repug party would be completely destroyed and the majority of rep.'s would not allow this to happen.

Republicans may be satisfied with the fact that they will inevitably resume power when the American people inevitably forget what a train wreck a Republican administration is. They are probably also of the mind that they can work the system regardless of whether they are in power or out of power. Just look at what happened to Clinton.

15. I see your point but disagree with the notion that the Repub party |
|
will be destroyed. Many Repubs want Bush to win at all costs because they believe that Liberals like Kerry will destroy this nation. They will be able to justify a Bush dictatorship to keep America safe and because if Bush loses, it's only because of the lib'rul media and Democratic election cheaters.

But he won't be able to.
The NeoCons aren't the only ones with powerful interests in the government.

10. I too found myself becoming paranoid............ |
|
but right now, I'm beginning to feel like America will stand up tomorrow and demand that he leave the Oval office in a voice so loud that the coward will finally realize how much he is hated and unwanted, and further, understand that if ANY attempt is made to thwart the succession then he will find himself in real danger.
Never again.
Never again.

They learned from Gore...you can't give up too soon. And too soon is any time that leaves you with less than a majority of electoral votes or votes in Congress, or on the supreme court.
My guess is they will not leave a sand grain unturned...it will be ugly.

First of all, he doesn't even realize what a fraud he is. Besides, Kerry is a ruling-class establishment candidate already vetted by the powers that be. Nothing against him, but this is not Kucinich we're talking about! Kerry's election will only mean an incremental change in our society, but it's an important one for the mental health of this country, and for the preservation of the vestiges off democracy we still have.
