NewsMax predicts Kerry Victory. Freeps turn on them.
Their beloved NewsMax delivers the truth (for once)

NewsMax: High Turnout Means Kerry Victory

Prediction: the anti-Bushies will defeat the pro-Bushies tomorrow night by 3 points in the popular vote and will garner over 280 electoral votes.

John Kerry - sitting atop the surfboard on this anti-Bush wave - will be the President-Elect.

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2004/11/1/90638.shtml

Freeps:

"Bull. Kerry generates no enthusiasm among his supporters. Everywhere Bush goes, he's greeted like a rockstar. The "norm" cannot be used to assess this election."

"newsmax is stale too. they have been treating zogby like a superstar which is ridiculous."

"Leboutillier? sounds french."

"wrong. the Silent Majority will roar. The mouse from Mass will scurry back into his little hole."

"I've also noticed that this guy has been dour all year. In fact, look at his picture on Newsmax. It's of a dour, depressed guy. He is like George Will, who always seems depressed"

"Wishful thinking. High Turnout kills Kerry. Look at the Polling internals. This is just more of the same old "we are the party of the people" mythology spun out by the Democrats."

"Ahhhh, good 'ol NewsMax. They've been whipping their readers into frenzy the past few days, mostly gloom-n-doom anti-Bush reports. I made the mistake of ordering their magazine and it pretty much goes straight to the litter box upon delivery. I think one has to be a tin-foil hatter to work there."

5. This is where we separate the generic fascists from the pure Nazis!
This really is too fun to watch. I just came from another site where the Bush fans were complaining about Fox News' leftist slant.

"Kerry generates no enthusiasm among his supporters. Everywhere Bush goes, he's greeted like a rockstar."

A HUNDRED THOUSAND people turn out for Kerry in Wisconsin, and they fucking call that "no enthusiasm"?

God, I hate them.

11. Newsmax's prediction of a Kerry victory is a tactical move.
By predicting a Kerry victory, Newsmax is attempting to energize Republicans so that they get out and vote on election day. The irony is that Kerry probably is actually winning.

Don't be surprised if all the right wing media starts playing the same tune Newsmax is playing right now.

12. Between this and the fox news poll..
You really have to wonder if this isn't just a way for the repukes to energize their base. Maybe?

I do love the numbers, though!

The tentacles of the RWAM are all on the same page. The RWAM is definitely trying to jump start Bush's base.

13. Kerry generates no enthusiasm and Bush is greeted like a rock star?
Yeah, a rockstar that makes his fanatical followers sign loyalty oaths before they hear the first note.

17. "the law of Moses required that a false prophet be stoned to death"
Priceless!
This is my fave comment there:
-
I wrote yesterday about Tucker Carlson's prediction that Kerry would win by 2%. My comments apply to this goof as well:

In the Old Testament days, the law of Moses required that a false prophet be stoned to death. I think we should go back to that law. Anyone who gets paid to render their opinions in the media who predicts incorrectly a Kerry win, should be taken out and stoned. I mean, what's the point of listening to a pundit who, quite frankly, gets it wrong?
