Win or Lose: Dems should boycott Fox News
No one can predict what will happen tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be a Kerry landslide, with us taking back at least 1 house of Congress.

Whatever the outcome, we need to do one thing: marginalize Faux News. When you look at what we were able to do with Sinclair, you see we have the power to do something necessary.

I suggest the following:
-no Dem ever goes on Fox. We lose absolutely nothing - the people who watch are idiots, and the propaganda is so endemic that we cannot get out our message anyway
-we keep up an ongoing economic boycott; there is already a channel that I will never watch again, as it's owned by Sinclair. We can go after advertisers, who only care about money - and together, we have a lot of money
-we must on all levels (letters to the editor, ads, discussions locally and nationally) repeat the mantra that Fox sucks.

We will likely never wean the weenies (like my brother in law) who love Fox and all it stands for. We need to go after their money, and to reduce the neutral folks who watch Fox 'cuz they think it's a news channel.

19. EXACTLY. That is plan #2
And that is what I will be doing.

Once Kerry's in we can relax a little bit and start fighting the other fights that need to be fought.

If we don't, we'll have more Bushcos in the wings.

8. I never watch fox news but what about the Simpsons?
They are on my local fox channel.

(I would give even Homer and Bart up if it would hurt Mr. Effing Murdoch!)

12. What Dem in their right mind watches Faux?
I've watched maybe a grand total of 5 minutes of Faux since the channel was launched. And that's just from surfing past it.

Can anyone show me one media outlet that is not bias? Really if you boycott any bias media you should just toss your tv out the window.

I do think we should contact their advertisers like we did Sinclair. We have to get news stations to tell the truth.

it helps us see all that is wrong with the country. I like getting into the psyche of the insane to see what we needs to be done to eliminate insanity.

20. I agree with you
...I like to see what the enemy is up to. Same reason I check Drudge once in a while. Although I have to admit I have never sat through Fox News. Once in a while I will check Hannity and Colmes to see Hannity make a fool out of himself.
