8. Not Ken Lay as his trial isn't until next year.
One reason he has been upset because he didn't his speedy trial. With no George W. Bush, he may get real justice now.

11. The timing of his trial
has no bearing on a potential pardon. The only question is Lay's value to the people closest to Bush. He may have brought too much negative attention on himself. But the trial date has zero impact on a pardon.

...before Buxh leaves office. Just in case.

If (Heaven forbid) Buxh retains office, maybe he can change his mind and take it to jury.

19. There are very few he CAN pardon.. He actually did them a disservice
By stalling their indictments/convictions, they are not eligible for paroles.. Let's hope that Spitzer (atty gen) lowers the hammer on them ALL and sends them away for a very long time..
