Who's the dork on C-SPAN taking calls? |
|
He just let some idiot go unchallenged about how he's voting for bush because Kerry's supposedly a flip-flopper.
I dunno, I'm sort of new to C-SPAN, watching it online. But what's the point of what seems to be just a human answering machine?

2. That's how C-SPAN works |

The hosts aren't supposed to opinionize or betray bias. When it's an open-phone call-in, they basically *are* human answering machines. People have their say and get off.

4. They are not there to challenge |

They just take the calls, listen, and go on. They do stop them if they curse or get really weird. Steve is one of the better Washington Journal hosts. I watch every morning. It's very entertaining and scary at the same time.

6. The so called impartial c-span |

hosts display their bias in the differing way they handle repuke and Dem callers. Repukes are more often allowed to ramble on and on while Dems are quickly cut off.
