This time tomorrow I will have finished off a bottle of champagne |

that I have been saving for a special occasion. Bush and his co-conspirators being fired and the end of this four year nightmare are damn good reasons to enjoy it wholeheartedly. I'll drink a toast to the end of four horrible years and to the beginning of eight good years.

the upside: I work in a NASA type room, and all major networks will be on several HUGE screens. All you sports fans - yes, the games are shown on them too - usually with the sound off though.

I've got the night off. I'm going to watch returns with the AZ Democratic Campaign at a hotel in Phoenix.

6. I was supposed to have the night off |
|
I've been off the past two nights - but there was a scheduling conflict and this guy just begged me to work - I had him begging for quite some time because I really didn't want to work Nov 2 but ultimately I relented. :o

3. We bought some tonight in anticipation of Kerry's win |
|
...and made sure it was from France, just for the additional laugh at the expense of the Freepers who have been positively obsessed with the French in this campaign.

any suggestions for what brand I should buy for my celebration?
I'm not a big wine drinker either... I like mixed drinks. So I have no earthly idea what kind of champagne to buy. Can anyone help me out?

8. You can probably find something decent at your local grocery store |
|
for less than ten bucks. No need to pay a lot for it. Chill it in your refrig for at least six hours before opening. The top will pop off when you open it up so don't get in the way. It might taste kind of sour to you at first but the taste will grow on you after a while if you give it a chance. It doesn't keep very well after it is opened so you might as well drink it all up the same night it is opened. Good luck.

9. Hell,. I am drinking now. LOL |

I had a win on the Melbourne Cup (big horse race dow under)today and decided to buy a bottle of wine, to celebrate the win, but also because tomorrow when your polling places close, I will be starting work, so I wanted to get in early with the celebrations. Then I also got a bottle of bubbly to drink Friday night, to celebrate President Kerry's victory, because I'm not working this weekend at all.
