I know it's tempting to rule out any possibility of malevolence, since it's so unfathomable that any group of people would be so ruthlessly motivated by power and wealth that they would sacrifice their own citizens in pursuit of it.

Let's keep in mind that, even if nothing happens on election day; even if Kerry is pronounced the victor by an overwhelming margin; even if it looks, on the surface, as though Bush will make a gracious concession to his opponent, these people will resort to doing unspeakable things in order to maintain their agenda.

the "war" games involving hijacked planes on Sept. 11, 2001. Our pilots could not tell what was really hijacked and what wasn't.
There are "terrorist" preparation war games scheduled in several cities around the US, TODAY. What will be will be, but the bastards will NOT get away with staging another terrorist attack under cover again without SEVERE repercussions!!!
