Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 05:44 AM by pacoyogi
Gonna shower, put on my black hoodie, pack a breakfast for my baby, and get in line to vote.

Gonna bring the baby carriage so she can sit comfortably, and my laptop and digital camera.

Gonna drink LOADS of coffee!!!

Gonna rock back and forth obsessively!!!

Gonna BOYCOTT TV until the Daily Show comes on.

Whach ya' gonna do?

Update 5:45-- we are watching Pooh right now. Then we are going to eat some oatmeal. Then we are going to wake up Daddy and go to the polls.

Will keep you all updated because it's a good reminder that life goes on, and because I am just vain enough to think that you all care!!!

I'm eating breakfast. I have to be at campaign HQ at 6 to help manage our GOTV effort.
This campaign is huge, the most massive political project ever put together here.
You know the scoop. We have the votes to win, we just have to get them to the polls.

It WILL happen

8. Sleepless in Vermont.......but, I usually go swimming...
at this hour. I will be so glad when Kerry is declared the uncontested winner. Heck, I've gained 10 pounds in the last two months. I really need to get back to my routine.

GO KERRY-EDWARDS on November 2, 2004

13. I, too, am heading out to the polls
I just ate, the dog wants to eat, then my husband and I are going together to vote.

I'll probably try hard to avoid all newscasts, too, until TDS. If I have to hear bad news (I hope not!) then I want Jon Stewart breaking it to me.

11. GOOD MORNING, DU!!!!!!!!!
I have been up since 3:45 a.m. I am feeling nervous. I think I am going to bake some cookies and take them to the Kerry office or to voter lines. I wonder if lots of other DU'ers are having trouble sleeping, too.

Thanks for the encouragement during these past months! I hope and pray for a Kerry win today.

12. Yes a long day for me, too
I will be in line at 6:45 (if there is a line at that hour)
Then off to drive 440 miles through Baltimore and Washington D.C. traffic in a big truck.
Should be home by 6-7pm, then stay up to watch the returns.
If you see a white truck with big w and a line drawn through it, thats me.

Can you feel it? the wind is turning to the west, the white will win.
(with props to J.R.R. Tolkien)

14. MORNING! MA here and happy it is finally time!
Last night was the first in weeks with NO nightmares. Slept sound and happy. Taking the kids to the bus stops later and then heading to the polls. We live in a poverty area and I wonder how many people will actually be there. Got my black hoodie.. which ironically is my normal garb. Will be thinking of all of you out there casting your vote to make our America better!

Woooo HOOOOOOOOO!!

16. ME too.. Up since 4:30
Finally got out of the bed.. making up list of contact numbers..

Going to plant signs at polling place at my required 100 foot distance

Taking Digital camera and list of phone numbers in case problems voting

Taking bottled water with Ruben Hinojosa for congress on them.

Taking coffee...

Going to be out all day then to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y party
..

Can't sleep might as well ACT.

My husband wants this to all be over so I will have a normal life again. He thinks I have OCD or some other thing.. I keep telling him that maybe he just doesn't realize how upset I am about my country and the direction the criminals took us.
