Me and My Family......
So yesterday was my birthday and I got calls from everyone in my family.

I spoke with my roommate before talking to my folks....and we were talkign about how republicans aren't necessarily the sharpest knives int he drawer and she says....Well..."Republicans are like The Scarecrow...they're all just looking for a brain."

So I got on the phone with my mom (a republican, voting for Kerry) and we were jut talking about politics and how she was going to vote tomorrow and people she's run across in her day and that sort of stuff, and she says, "Hey...did you see bill Maher last night?" And i said, yeah, it was pretty cool, huh...she says: that blonde woman really pissed off that Richard Belzer guy. He was really angry. But she was evil anyways.

And i said, "Mom....Ann Coulter makes me want to use the C-word. You know..the one that starts with C and ends in T? so my mom says...Yeah, and she looks like she's all shriveled up and cobwebby down there too!" *lol* my jaw dropped. So she and my dad both tell me they're going to the polls, and she can't understand how these republicans can be so immature and childish and i told her about the Scarecrow bit.

Then I talk to my sister....she and her hubby are nader voters, but i'm please dot sya..Not this year! She asked me if i was worried about disenfranchisement, and said she was taking all her papers with her. She said my Mom said to her that she wishes someone would try to disenfranchise her at the polls (she's in Florida). She said, she'd get very angry and start yelling.

My mom is a hoot. ANd i'm so glad that for the first time ever, we're all voting and voting the same. Well i don't know about my brother - he's airforce, and he's a hillbilly, but he ain't stupid, so i guess it remains to be seen.

Either way, i thought i'd share, because i see so many stories about families being divided by the love of chimpy, but here's one family that's united in hate. hee!
