To those who can vote
I am an immigrant, not yet a citizen of the US. I wish today, more than any other day, that I was. My wife will be out voting today, as will my friends.

I have put in a lot of hours for the local Democratic party - although I cannot vote the outcome of this election is vital to me both as a US resident and someone who lives on this planet.

We are going to win. I think we will see that the groundswell of support is amazing. Be prepared to wake up hungover and happy tomorrow.

3. Yes
But it takes a very very long time - despite being from a 'low-risk' Western country and being happily married to an American

2. Thank you!!!!
While your not a citizen yet, we are proud of your service in embracing the spirit of the greatest Democracy on the planet, the United States of America. Your turn will come soon perhaps for Kerry's re-election in 08.

4. That was me in 2000....
I was born in Canada, but had been living in the States for a while. After Bush won, I decided that I would become an American citizen so that I could vote his pathetic, cheating ass out of office in 2004.

I already had my green card, so I just had to apply for citizenship. It took a year. But, it was worth it. Today I voted for John Kerry in the swing state of Pennsylvania.

I couldn't be happier!! Hang in there, we appreciate all your hard work and dedication. You will get to vote to re-elect Kerry in 2008!

5. I can vote and I did
My wife and I took our 3 year old with us this morning and voted.

Granted, CT is going to go Dem, but I want to know that our votes are part of the grand total when they tell us that the popular vote was for Kerry.

6. My family cast 4 votes for Kerry this morning. If you want,
you can "take" my vote and count it for yourself. Thank you for all your work, it will be an honor to have you as a fellow citizen!
