60. One hour wait starting at 7AM. Upstate. Unfortunately the most repug

area of the state, but my particular precinct is a pretty mixed bag. Poll worker told me the first person in line started at 6 (polls opened at 7) with a paperback, lawn chair and coffee. Saw several of my known dem neighbors in line, and a couple of young white guys in black hoodies.

The couple in front of me were clear repugs though. Fellow behind I'm pretty sure was a dem.

One person walked past our line within the 100 foot zone with a sign "Pray, Obey, Vote" illustrated with crosses. That's how I found out the likely orientation of the people near me. I said something about the 100 foot rule. The couple in front were very annoyed with me, the guy in back said "that's what I thought too"

The sign person didn't return though within the hour I waited, and was out by the road in the legal zone later, so I didn't bother to report it. I'm going to check on them this afternoon.

Just talked to a coworker who voted at lunch. Only one person was in front of him in line. He's in a more firmly republican precinct. I hope it's that away across the state, but it seems more likely to be time of day factors. No one else in the building voted first thing, but many of them are repugs.

I just really hope we don't get DeMinted.
