4. she said...
she was very nervous! but she was so proud to recieve her 'i voted' sticker! and she said she is proud to be among the youth of america who came out in droves to vote today and make this an historic occassion, not just for her, but for the nation! she is on fire for kerry! i'm just bursting i tell you!!!

and she said she is heading for the mall to wear her sticker proudly! now, you have to understand, this young woman is very shy and doesn't like to draw attention to herself. so for her to say she is going to the mall to show off her sticker! it's a milestone!!!

6. I feel like bursting too!
I never understood why young people don't vote. I am so proud of all of them.

9. Oh, it's so touching to hear about your daughter!
My oldest son voted for the first time, too. Sons aren't as demonstrative about their emotions as daughters, but he was glowing when he got home & actually told me about his experience.

He's a big Kerry supporter! He's in a band & has Kerry bumper stickers all over his guitar amps. :)

2. Me Too!
Proud as punch. My wise guy just turned eighteen son in his black hoodie, cast his first vote this morning.

I'm so glad young people are speaking up!
On edit:
I let my class go early so they could go vote! I'm proud of them too.

10. How did he like Eminem's "Mosh" video?
My son loved it. He said Eminem has a huge, loyal following & that the video would probably help the GOTV effort.

8. Tell your daughter we're all very proud of her too, and of you
for raising such great kids. The young will bail this country out again - it's the 60's all over again.

12. So did 3 of my nieces and 1 nephew!
Only the 18 year old had an excuse for this being the first time but at least the 20, 24, and 25 year olds got out too. - They all thought it was necessary to call me and let me know they had voted.
