My girlfriend got vistited by Freep-teens

She just told me they knocked on the door while I was out job hunting today. Two guys about 14 years old with Republican literature. She said we were NOT voting Rethuglican because we don't want cyanide in the water or logging in the national forests. They started on the pro-life/pro-family angle and she said they were too young to hear what she had to say about pro-lifers and shut the door.

My girl rocks. We're both members of VHEMT by the way. :)

5. Was just saying to the other half yesterday

while watching footage of door knockers for each candidate - that if I lived in the US I think I'd have to have a sign up saying "while I respect your right to believe whatever you like, if you believe in Cheney/Bush and knock on my door you WILL be met with abuse. Sorry"

These kids have been brainwashed into believing that people who vote Democrat spend their spare time eating babies and drinking the blood of virgins. When they come a-knockin around here, I try to be solicitiously nice and polite, but at the same time make it very clear that I do not support the cause they're pushing.

I figure it this way: They'll probably never come over to our side, but at least they won't believe that the typical Democrat is an evil nasty ogre.

That's great! I wonder how many of the young freepers are willing to put their precious little butts on the line and enlist or get a commission and go serve in Afghanistan, where I've spent time, or to Iraq....? Please hand out a few Army Recruiter cards too, not just those Semper Fi ones......
