I guess it's much easier to be macho and stupid when you live in a place that is not not really at risk.
The Dems need to re-invent and re-structure themselves for future campaigns. Good luck in the next 4 years. You'll need it.
My wife voted for Kerry (absentee Maryland ballot) and she's heart broken that Kerry didn't win, but she also felt that Howard Dean would have done better. He was much more consistent and you always knew where he stood. They killed Kerry on his inconsistencies.
