George W Bush's Biggest Failure |
|
George W Bush came into office promising to be a "uniter, not a divider." From the economy to Iraq to domestic issues of every stripe(ie, affirmative action), to international issuses, he has failed to unite the people behind him. He seems to be oblivious to what other people might think or either he just doesn't give a damn. He has been intent on promoting his ideological agenda, with an arrogance that has pissed off the world, at the expense of our entire country.
We find our nation divided by the war. He never got a consensus from the people before he went to war. Indeed, he did push a resolution thru the paranoid Congress but a large proportion of American did not support his war cries. Thousands of people were marching in the streets urging him not to go to war. And now we find ourselves in a deep hole, looking for the quagmire exit.
He forced thru his taxcuts, with sheer political power, but not by the will of the people or any debate about what might be best for the nation. He was intent on giving his wealthy friends a huge taxbreak and to hell with whatever consequences might befell us. Now we are faced with god-awful deficits that are so ominous that it appears we will never get rid of them.
And to think, for a person that never received the votes of a majority of Americans, he would have tried to work with those that voted against him and would have tried to have found some middle ground. However, he and his political advisers decided to play hardball politics and to ram their agenda down the throats of America, and you could go to hell if you didn't like it.
He has divided this nation along Party lines moreso than any president of recent times. Money and power dictate his motives and he makes no effort to try to bring this nation together. He should be called the "Great Divider".

5. It depends on how you look at it. |

He has apparently done something that centuries could not do. He has united the Arab people. In that sense he's more of a uniter than ever.

6. Failure? - I beg to differ |

While any sane person would have to agree with your assessment, it goes under the assumption the goals of this Admin. were the betterment of our society and the world.
I don't believe those were the goals of "Installation 2000". I believe among the reasons he was installed was to be a tool and conduit for the looting of this country and the destabilization of parts of the world for plunder.
And because of media complicity, I'd say, he's been very successful.

10. And what would you define as traitorous? |
|
Usurping the Constitution? Violating international law? Or just not agreeing with every single mangled word and phrase that dribbles from Bush and Cheney's lips?

12. What a sleazeball he is. |

"Divide and conquer" is the sleaziest political tactic in existence, and it's Bush's first resort. Dividing people achieves political power easily but destructively. That's why the tactic is only used by a**holes like Bush. Few others would stoop so low.
It's like fishing with dynamite. Light the fuse and toss it in the pond. Any jerk can do it. Only a jerk would. But hey, the little man comes home with a stringer full doesn't he?

13. President Bush:A Enormous Failure |
|
President George W. Bush has failed the American people miserably.Without the majority of the American peoples support you and your administration have attacked our own democracy in ways it has never been done throughout our history. The American people should have feared you from the start. You and your elite powerfull familly showed your disrespect for democracy in Fla.in the 2000 election that you stoled. The American people wanting to move the nation forward gave you their trust and support were willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. What did America get in return? The first months of your presidency the only thing you focused on were your tax cuts for the rich.Foriegn affairs and every other domestic situation took a back seat to your precious tax cut. Then we had 9/11 you finally showed what you don't show very often,a little compassion. But this didn't last long instead of building a cohesivness with the rest of the world you choose the dish out justice Texas style allienateing many of Americas closest friends and allies. As all of this was occuring the nations economy was getting sicker.Your first round of tax cuts and rebates failing you pushed for more at the same time saying the ecomony was strong. With your radical advisors pushing attack Iraq you caved in to them, ignoring the many American and world concerns. You choose to go it alone Texas style now our soilders and their famillies are paying the ultimate price and you still don't have a clue.I honestly don't believe you know the value of human life. From executions in Texas to deats at WTC and Afganistan,Iraq and other places around the world.I'll admidt there were problems before you took office. But death has been a constant since you have been in office. Now your poll numbers are sliding and you still don't get it.Holding out to the last miniute for help from the rest of world.Refusing to admit you misled the American people, refusing to admit we shold not have went in Iraq alone refusing to admit the your borrow and spend economic poloicies are bad for the future of Ameriaca.Mr Bush you are not in touch with reality you are dangerous and you have failed miserably. You should be ashamed to seek re-election period!
