CANADIAN DUERS... CHEER UP!!!! Bush means 4 next GREAT years
for Canada. Everybody knows that our economy and our dollar went UP UP UP under Chimpy. Historically Republicans have been good to us.

And yes, that's the only thing on my mind that makes this result bearable to me...

3. The US dollar is going to be tied to the
Chinese currency pretty soon. The Canadian dollar will soar. Then you can buy up all our property, like you tried to do in the 1980s, and rescue us from ourselves (please).

11. China just announced that they're changing the exchange rate.
It used to be pegged to the dollar at 8.28 but over the next two years they're changing to 6. Now that Bush has been re-elected I don't see why they'd stop there.

I get paid in Renminbi so it's like getting a 25% raise over the next two years, but if nobody wants to learn English anymore, I'm screwed.

The time to sign up for Mandarin lessons is now, boys and girls.

5. This Canadian says fuck that thinking!
Jesus Christ, this is a GLOBAL TRAGEDY.

As for Canada's prospects, have you ever lived next door to a religious maniac given to unprovoked acts of violence, who's deeply in debt, armed to the teeth and thinks what you have is his? Because you do now.

7. You Canadians are sitting on a goldmine up there -> tarsands/oilsands
You guys have more oil up there then Saudi Arabia. Once liquid oil tanks you'll be raking in the cash processing tar-sand

On second thought, maybe you guys better watch out. Can anybody say "Longest undefended border in the world."?

Do you guys have any WMD up there??? Oh hell, who needs that excuse anymore...

9. I feel your pain
This election will be a tragedy for the rest of the world as well.Bush has stirred up every extremist and crack-pot terrorist in the world with his reckless excursion into Iraq. The attack on the taliban was justified in my opinion but the occupation of Iraq has inflamed every muslim in the world.I am fearful terrible times are ahead for both our countries as I am sure we will be sucked into this quagmire.Keep your heads up and take pride in your efforts.

12. Bush will do his level best to drag us (Canada) into his wars
I don't know if Martin has the backbone of Trudeau or Chretien when it comes right down to it. So, I can't see any pluses to this disaster.
