Poll question: Does the Democratic Party serve...
(speaking specifically of the current (and overall) leadership of the party, the public positions, the words and deeds of the Democrats in power) No comment is necessary.

3. Wow! People here are So unhappy with the party...
Why don't you just run off and become a Green. Maybe a Libertarian or a Republican.

That's what Rove wants you to do.

15. come - let's not be cute
Unity - ok, great. Whose definition of unity? Unity of the "you have no other place to go without being a spoiler" kind, or unity of the "let's work together toward the goals we *do* have in common" kind?

7. They already ARE Rethugs and Greenies. Get it?
Rethugs are trying to cloud the fact they have a single issue to run on. Greens are trying to get more than 2 percent of the American people to sign on to their wacky agenda.

13. "some say it's just a part of it
we've got to fulfill the book"

I'm a registered Democrat, John. I guess "working within the party" is not acceptable?

8. For those of you that claim that the Democrats are simply
'Republican light' or serving 'corporate interests', I get the feeling that you voted for Nader and can't tell the difference between Bush and Gore. I think you need to wake up.
