My closest friend at work, also a rabid repuke, who loves to hound me about Kerry, and I hound him about AWOL, gave me NO shit whatsoever. Now, I know he and a couple other guys were celebrating because I kinda interrupted it, but that's cool. They were making an effort not to lay any shit on me out of respect for our friendships. I'm grateful for that. When one of my liberal co-workers started to talk some shit to my repuke co-worker, I asked him to lay off because the repuke had been a gentleman all day. I'm not gonna give him hell. He didn't do anything wrong. He just bought into the bullshit and voted for some media representation of a "leader" without really doing any more investigating.

Note - This guy thinks Obama is the SHIT though. If you knew how much he hated our party, you'd realize what a big deal it was that he told me this. He usually concedes nothing to me.

to these folks, and how Russia is denominating its oil sales in the Euro now, and the Chinese yen(?) was set free recently (rather than being propped up by their government to index on our dollar), so it's seeking its real value now. And how now that China is capitalist with no unions or other protections their economy can become #1 on its own internal size and strength. AND they own our deficit. AND as the dollar falls, all of them will stop financing our debt and invest in each other as their currencies rise. AND when no one will lend to us, we will crash and burn.

3. My freeper ex-girlfriend harassed me all morning at work..

She kept sending me e-mails about how Saddam was behind 9/11 and how chimpy is going to finish the job in Iraq. Then she started into that crap about moral issues. After a while I told her not to talk to me anymore. Most of the other people in my department are Kerry supporters, so we were able to console each other.

6. I'm hearing crickets and seeing cowardly behavior today

They know that the election was not entirely on the up and up. They knew that the Democratic vote was suppressed. They know that their churches campaigned for shrub and they feel a little guilty about that dirty little secret.

Most of all, though, they know that they are in big doo-doo now. Most of them don't really trust chimpy. Deep down many of them know he is an incompetent boob. Suddenly the whole shabang is on their plates and they know that we aren't going to lift a finger to help.

Yes, I understand there is a political price for pursuing that project, but isn't it trying to play to the middle that got us in this situation in the first place?

Really, say "tax the churches" and someone (or more) always says something like, "I'm very interested in that idea."

Best part? On my boss's watch and no doubt she was the one behind it! When this country goes completely in the shitter in the next four years I will laugh in their smug stupid faces!
