So far I've managed to avoid all coverage of Kerry's concession speech, Bush's acceptance speech, and the rest of the media crap. I can't even handle clips, not even on the Daily Show. Too sad that I can't find solace in Jon! Maybe by next week. . .

Stewart is saying funny stuff but it is not registering in my brain right now...there is too much moosh in there...cant seem to smile or focus on anything right now...I am a mess. I am sure I will snap out of it eventually (please god, my wife will kick me out of the house if I am like this for 4 years) but right now I am like a dead man....completely numb and in shock.....america right now has cancer and I dont know if it can be cured.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x2590987Schumer was just on. He said there is something wrong with the system, which made me happy, if that is the direction the dems go in now, it bodes well for the future.

...he said they were doing "serious thinking". That means Al Frum and the DLC will be releasing a paper within the next 48 hours declaring that we have to move further right on social issues, and the spineless tutu jellyfish will go a-huh...
The GOP didn't seize control by moving to the center. They seized conrol by fabricating the definitions and spectrum used to define the center. If the shit-breathing DLC wants to go chasing the "center" up and down, left and right, on some imaginary line, while this nation, is, in effect, a one-party state.
