In some ways, we are free ....
Free to be as bold and loud and angry as we want.

We don't have to appease the moderates or the stupid "undecideds". We don't have to be polite. They own everything - so why not be loud and proud and slap them every chance we get. Time to engage in a little counter-culture. Time to get bold. We have a couple years to just say "F**k it" and rake them over the coals every chance we get.

You broke it a-holes. You bought it. How will you like shrubbie when he tries to ram three Scalias down your throat? When he starts another war? When he bankrupts our country? And BTW, Mr. President? You are now accountable for EVERY single ill in this country no matter how small or petty. You and your party own it. Grandma lost her health insurance - your fault. My brother lost his job? Your fault. My stocks tanking? Your doing. Lost my purse. You are somehow to blame. Since you won't take responsibility for your f**k-ups, I say you should get all the responsibility. You think you were clever blaming Clinton? Wait till you see what we do to you. Clinton had an advantage. He was competent. You are not. Watching you flounder and sputter will be so sweet.

1. Can't blame it on Clinton now.
They've got control of everything...scary as hell, but they'll also be held accountable for every disaster that occurs. And, believe me, there will be a lot of disasters.

You broke it, you bought it, you own it, you fix it! Who are they going to blame this mess on? Not us!

4. LOL! It is a beautiful thought
The right-wingers know it, too.

A lot of them are scared shitless today. They were driven by blind hatred and fear to vote against their interests. They just got what they voted for, and suddenly realized what it means. Rut-roh.

6. I agree ...
but realize that there are those of us who recognize what is wrong, and those who refuse to acknowledge it. There are intelligent and informed people who live in reality, and there are stupid assholes who are too greedy, lazy and/or blind to see the big picture. I'm not sure how to rectify this. Battered wife syndrome.

7. Did you see TDS tonight?
Man, it was great. They played Bush's fake "reaching out" to dems and then Jon Stewart said in his best Bush voice "I het you, because I love you - you know that" ROTFLMAO.

I loved TDS, when I did have it. But I can live vicariously through you. I won't spent money for all the other crap on cable.

On edi: I can picture it perfectly... JS is a gem.

8. Yep. And seeing that my credit sucks anyhow
if I get sick, I'm marching into a hospital with full intent of not paying for a thing. Let them line up with the rest of my creditors.

12. "Free to be as bold and loud and angry as we want." ???
I would NOT assume that at all.

Dissent will be much more aggressively suppressed under the bush 'mandate' as will censorship and media control as they serve both the fundie fascists and the corporate fascists.

whatever dissent IS expressed, will receive even LESS coverage than we saw over the last four years.

and gay people are in DEEP shit. watch them try to put WILL through a 'christian conversion' and ELLEN into a frock....

watch the trends in the all-movie channels too. already a flood of WAR WAR WAR programming to energize the empire building....

14. This is so true...
all day, actually longer, I've been saying this same thing.." They broke it and they can't fix it and they can't blame us! They have had control over the Senate and the Congress for the last four years and will no doubt have control for four more. In a few months, I predict less than 1 year, Shrub's approval rates will hit an all time low. We've all been distracted with the elections for awhile and the media has been busy persecuting us for so long that Rove spun Shrub a glossy little picture to present to the public...but the shine will wear back off and the arrogantly stupid divisive shrub will be back to his normal. The nation is still deeply divided over on going issues and I don't think any amount of their fence mending will bridge this gap.
