A repuke experience I had at work last night!
I recently began work as a licenced security guard. I currently work in the loss prevention area of a major electrical hi-fi store here in Australia. Basically I greet people at the door, while constantly looking around to make sure no one is trying to pinch something from the store I am assigned to.

Last night I was working from 4pm until 9:30pm. When I got to work they had one of their tv's on, and it happened to be on a channel that was showing the U.S. election. The only thing was, the volume was turned right down, so I couldn't hear what was going on.

Anyway, about 6pm this guy walked in, and he came and asked me for some help. I noticed right off the bat that he had an American accent (my guess would be Californian accent.) Anyway, he looked over at the tv and looked back at me, then kinda nudged my shoulder and said; "my wife is so happy today, our boy Bush* is winning." Then he went on and said, how the world will be a better place, now that he will secure the next four years.

There was nothing I could do. :( I could not say a thing to this jerk because of being at work, and being in uniform. If I was to say anything, all he would have to do is take down the company I work for, the store location and time, and they would pin it down to me, and I would be fired.

As a licenced security guard, we are tought to be tollerant of every single person, no matter what our own personal belief is. That has been hard for me, because I have already had to face some homophobes, and being a lesbian, I don't want to face that. But yesterday, I just so wanted to knock some sense into this idiots head.

When I was living over there with Sapph, I expected to run into repukes, and so, I had no problems, but being here in Australia and on election day, I truly wasn't expecting to run into an American, let alone, a fucking low life repuke!

1. Next time...
...plant a DVD in the bastard's bag, and then "find" it.

3. LOL!
Unfortunately, the cameras in the store (which are everywhere) also watch me, so it is impossible to do, but I so wanted to catch him stealing something. LOL

He would have been my first arrest too, and there would never have been a sweeter arrest than his.

5. Not your fault, my friend.
So there is no need for you to apologize. Trust me, I know exactly how you feel with our country doing the exact same thing as yours did yesterday. I know, you guys here at DU and others on the left tried your hardest to oust the boy king, it is unfortunate that there are jerks like this guy last night in the world, and people who help idiots steal elections for their own sick agenda's.

6. ROFL!
I didn't even think of that! I was so worked up when he was there, that all I could think about was all the lives that have already been lost, and those about to be lost because of the sick and twisted idiot in the WH.
