Missing hundred million ballots. Where are they? |
|
Today, one of the most interesting questions asked is about the repeated news reports (at least on TV) that polls were receiving an 85% turnout out. Four years ago, we had a 40% turnout of a smaller number of registered voters. It's not just the negative 25,000 vote-count in one Ohio district that we need to ask about. It's where are those hundred million votes that aren't in the total.

They want to believe that those long lines and all that early voting didn't take place. It's like the Ministry of Truth has told us to forget everything they said about the turnout because it never happened.

5. The best thing you can do is to get your figures straight. |
|
There aren't 100 million missing ballots because there aren't that many additional voters in the nation.
The difference, nationwide, is about 6.5 million votes. Those are important, but they aren't 100 million.
That's how the left gets marginalized by the right as unclear on the facts.

40% was about 111,000,000 votes.
So 85% of more is____________

11. According to the TV news on Tuesday, we had an 85% turnout |
|
Stop reading Ministry of Truth Propaganda and remember.
Were those long lines on Tuesday and before just a figment of our imaginiation? There was 100$ turnout from Democrats in the three precincts I monitored. Was this just a dream? Maybe I should go along with the revised version of history.

8. You have more voters than there are people |
|
First of all, there are about 180 million people in the country of voting age; your numbers give us about 220 million.
Secondly, about 50 percent of them voted in 2000. On Tuesday, it looks like something between 55 and 60 percent voted, which is remarkable.
Finally, every year, there is anecdotal evidence early in the day that there is "record turnout." By eight o'clock, it turns out that's simply not true.
