Great talking points for a comeback to the Morality issue.

Expand it to include feeding the poor, housing the homeless, healing the sick etc ect..

I'll give Bernie a monologue. Please send it to him. All of this is first hand experience:

Have you ever witnessed a Republican's version of generosity? They give only in a calculated manner -- when they are reasonably sure they will receive something in return. They give to their kid's coaches because they reasonably expect it to translate to more time on the playing field for their daughter or son. They give in marked envelopes in church so that their generosity can be individualized and recognized. They only donate to charities or individuals sanctioned by their church so that they can get the most recognition.

Also, they spend their entire lives bitching about people who speak other than English around them; and they bitch about bilingual people who raise children that only speak English.

I'll think up some more if he's interested.
