5. I'll finish your sentence for you...
FAT ASS! :D

Marches don't bring the troops home, but they can build media awareness - something we have to fight for twice as hard as the other guys.

4. It shows we are not...

...part of a mandate.

Stay home if you wish...I plan on protesting every chance I get.

Cheers,

3. As I posted earlier in another thread...
<<to those of you who protested the RNC convention...

You should know that the world noticed.

The American media may have tried to block it out. But I looked at a couple of foreign papers at the time and they definitely noticed.

So if any of you felt your protesting made no difference, please don't feel that way. It absolutely did. I wish I could have been there.

And it is even more crucial now for the world to understand that SO many of us didn't want this.

So I think a protest would absolutely make a difference. Even just for that reason alone; but there are many other reasons.>>

6. I don't have enough posts to start a thread, but please read
some ideas I've been thinking over. I think we need to organize large, simultaneous protests across the country (like has been done). But what if we could do it soon (maybe 11/9) and in a secretive, dramatic way--all of the angry voters come out en masse and dress in a way to represent the oppressed. What if protestors wore black hoods like the Abu Gharaib prisoners and then other protestor on the periphery dressed to represent the administration and yelled their ridiculous slogans (a brilliant success, spreading democracy, liberating...) while standing in front of the "oppressed." we need a 'tea party' type of event to shake up the sheeple and let them know just how many of us object to this gov't.
