It's time for some tough love
I am normally a very empathetic person...I feel bad when others suffer - that's a hallmark of being a liberal. But no more. From now on I'm asking people who they voted for.

Lost your job. You voted for Bush. Tough shit.

Kid got sent off to war and got hurt (or heaven forbid killed). You voted for Bush. Tough shit.

Can't afford health care. You voted for Bush. Tough shit.

Huge corporation ran your mom and pop store out of business. You voted for Bush. Tough shit.

Your property taxes are through the roof to make up local budget shortfalls. You voted for Bush. Tough shit.

Gasoline is over 3 bucks a gallon and you can't really afford it. You voted for Bush. Tough shit.

The list is endless. Deep down I may still feel sorry for people because that's just who I am...but I'm not EVER letting them know that. They voted for this bullshit and now they can reap the fucking results.

1. I'm with ya on this one and I intend to be viscious. I will no longer open
my wallet and donate to anything. When my mandatory volunteer hours are completed at my kids' schools that's all I'm doing. No more fund raisers. Public school teachers here who voted for bush* I hope are the first ones layed off during the next school year.

It will be tough shit for a lot of folks I think and I will not feel one bit sorry for them. If someone voted for bush* I wouldn't piss on them if their guts were on fire.

5. I'm not gonna be "viscious" because...
I have my own karma to look out for. I'm just not going to be openly sypathetic like I have been in the past. I spend a lot of time working on my own karma and from now on I'm expecting no less from other people. They put our country in this position and if they reap the results they have no one to blame but themselves.

I will try to point this out with tact and in a way that opens a dialogue about how things would be better for them if they would vote Democratic...but I'm not going to sugar coat the basic point that they brought their troubles on themselves.

4. Pray to Bush for all your ailments, I don't want to hear it anymore.
I feel the same way. No more mercy.
