2. Eat!
You are going to need to fight to save your country. Keep active. Read and determine the first cause that you really want to fight for. Blessings and comfort to you!

3. Me too. Sad, isn't it.
Somehow, we have to find our way to each other - reach out and lend our strength to those who need it most. We can't fall apart.

4. Well you should eat
You know you aren't alone. You know the war isn't over. This was a major defeat, but not a crushing one. We will continue to fight, and we will need everybody to continue the fight.

Make a nice grilled cheese sandwich or something.

7. Be careful with negative energy.
It can achieve critical mass, and then you won't be able to stop its effects on you.

I've seen some very sad people around since Tuesday who need to immerse themselves in real beauty for extended periods of time for a while.

Hare Krsna! Hare Rama!

8. You aren't alone by any stretch.
Just powerless, for now. We are out of the loop.

I was in a foul, foul mood yesterday and didn't eat either (till evening anyway). Today is better...actually not bad. Tomorrow may even be tolerable.

Tip: I refuse to expose myself to any news in any form, except DU. It helps.

21. Oh yeah! I haven't watched
"news" since the 2002 election! The media is our Main problem..one of the Reasons I wanted Kerry to win so badly was so they could break up the media!

9. I have been feeling
less alone now that I'm starting to touch base with people and we begin formulating our plans for 'what's next.' But if you're a weak little waif you won't be a lot of help, so have some tomato soup to go with the grilled sandwich already recommended and start to look at the issues that are most important to you. I know I am going to join some of the anti-war groups, and I'm still sorting through other ideas.

One of the members of our Democratic Unity Group commented on how MASSIVE the repub machine is, with enormous voter lists, in comparison to what we had here in Wisconsin. I saw that, as well, on election day, when the only pollwatcher we had was a repug, who was checking names off his palm pilot as voters came through. A runner would then pick up the information and they'd phone bank to get the rest of their people out to vote.

Now that we're in the beginning stages of real action, I'm realizing that I don't have to fight this battle by myself.

10. We need an educational tool.
I'm hearing Franken talking about these misleading electoral vote maps with huge expanses of red, and it occurs to me -- has anyone created a map with the red and blue properly apportioned WITHIN EACH STATE to reflect the percentage of the vote that each candidate received, including (where applicable) third parties?

This would be a useful educational tool to show the ignorant how truly divided our nation remains.

Another map, with the size of each state adjusted proportional to the size of its electoral vote (as in http://www.electoral-vote.com/carto/sep14c.html ) but with colors apportioned within each state. This would help to counter the illusion created by the red states with vast expanses of unpopulated desert.

13. hey graywarrior, I'm off my feed, too
And having people tell you to buck up, get over it, move on and keep fighting doesn't help right now. It's like a grief process. It will take some time. We will survive, and we might even learn something valuable in the process - come out as better, stronger people because of it. But right now, it feels like being punched in the stomach. It just hurts.

15. I am a mess also.....
I have hardly had anything to eat and I have turned myself into a loner...i dont feel like talking to anyone, including my wife and kids!

I have never been so depressed in all of my life. I am in shock and depressed and cannot see myself getting out of this in the near future. At least after the 2000 theft we had 2004 to look forward too.

Anyway, that is how I now feel. Hopefully I will start to snap out of this rut I am now in.

Life sucks! THERE IS NO JUSTICE.....

I, personally, don't believe bush got that many votes..computer hacking into bbv and diebold go a long way in getting the requisite amount of votes to beat your "opponent"!
