we can get out Black protestants in urban areas and Hispanic Catholics in urban areas, we can also get out the college vote if we continue to register young people

2. One problem we must solve |
|
Most white people vote in suburbia and rural areas where they have lots of nice polling stations and seldom encounter long lines. Our voters are mostly urban and have to brave long lines.
Reason: they make it easy for their voters and tough for us.
We need control of the election machinery. If The Democrats had control of the Ohio statehouse and ran the elections, we might have had a different result.

Here in W. Mich there were two hour+ lines in OUR precincts but smooth sailing in suburbia.
Happy story- we actually got the Governor to call our city manager and tell him to get the clerk off his chair and get some more poll workers out so the lines wouldn't be so long.
Happy story II- one of our city precincts went for Kerry nearly unanimously 882-40
