I refuse to accept a mandate from voters that believed Bush's lies |
|
What did this bunch that voted for Bush tell us they want? They want to discriminate against gays and lesbians through an amendment to our constitution, they want to limit the ability of patients to get compensation from negligent doctors, buisnesses, corporations, they want assault weapons for recreation, they were just fine with the crumbs they got with the last tax giveaway to corporations and the wealthy, they still believe that Iraq has something to do with 9-11 and are okay with the carnage there, they want to lord over a women's right to an abortion, they want to ignore the corruption of this administration, and they are willing to accept the eviceration of our civil liberties as long as they aren't directly affected.
Why should I bend to these mindless idiots? What's worse, I believe that most of these Bush supporters know he's lying and don't care, so long as they keep our party down.
Bush and the republicans have control over all branches of government. Unity will come when they bend to acknowledge the views of the minority which represents the other half of our divided electorate.
A minority is powerless while it conforms to the majority; it is not even a minority then; but it is irresistible when it clogs by its whole weight. -Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862),

2. Even the GOP fuckheads in my office were laughing at it. |
|
These people are not easy with this victory. They are happy that the GOP has retained a solid hold on the collective stick in our asses but they are also scared behind those fake smiles.
They were having a good old time making fun of the guy they just voted for! :wtf:

4. I agree, I think that they were hoping |

the polls were right (and they were) that JK would win. And now reality hits them ... the guy is nuts and his policies will be ruinious ... and it's the fault of those who voted him in. Dana ; )

3. aWol did not win. Liebold stole it. FASCIST rule |

I copied the following message it bears repeating: Everyone who didn't drink KKKRove's koolaid knows the media are covering up for the companies whose fraudomatic e-vote machines threw the election to Bush, cheating Kerry out of his rightful place in the Oval Office. The media know there's a real conspiracy between the voting machine vendors, the GOP, and the BFEE, but have been told to lie about that fact and dismiss those who suspect the truth as "conspiracy theorists" to sell the illusion that Bush has the mandate he lacked in 2000.

of fraud that is more subjective that we are too prepared to live with.
The national forums are the place to clean the national mind. Those forums are shit and an even bigger fraud than the delusions of religious fanatics.
It runs deep and everywhere. We are hardly immune to its numbing effects. It is ORGANIZED fraud that is a national issue in all these sectors. Organized deception for the undermining of the legal framework of America and the commission of other high crimes against the state and humanity might just fit up there with Cosa Nostra and the war on drugs.
I'd like to see the whole gang under the RICO act, but remember, it was easier for RFK to get the job done with simple tax evasion prosecution. This disease permeates all those possibiitites and shields itself. Our political AIDS epidemic is pretty progressed.
