Gore's TV network
http://www.indtv.tv/index.html

A snip from their home page:

<<We are an independent media company led by former Vice President Al Gore, entrepreneur Joel Hyatt and a growing team of industry professionals and young creatives. We are coming together around a common mission: to share the world's most dominant media platform - television - with a diverse group of people who want an outlet for their creativity, their voices heard and their perspectives valued.

Last May we acquired an existing television network that is currently available in almost 20 million U.S. homes. In 2005 we will debut our new programming on this network, shows shaped by a new generation of media-savvy creators.>>

There's also an FAQ, and while they have a "Now Hiring" page, their "Apply" page says the deadline was October 15, 2004.

4. I adore Ron Reagan, but he might be too old for the indtv demo group
They're looking for 18-34 year olds primarily.

3. unfortunately
if you read the FAQ, you'll notice that they claim they are not a political network.

(then again, i'm certain FOX doesn't claim to be one either)

6. Right, but they might actually report the real news! For example,
BBV/e-voting.

Also, if it is promoted as nonpolitical, people wouldn't dismiss such news as being propaganda from a liberal network.

But then again, maybe they would, saying "Oh, you heard that on Al Gore's network???"

9. They will be smeared
They will be smeared relentlessly because of Al Gore. Fox/CNN/et al will put it to their robots that Gore has an axe to grind and so now they will attempt to "misinform" America with televised "liberal propaganda."

I hope they are enormously sucessful in investigating and reporting the lies of Corporate America perpetrated with control of our political processes, but I expect them to be ripped to shreads by the MSM if they get anywhere near exposing the truth about the state of our society.
