when they overturn Roe v Wade....they will be declaring that an embryo (at any stage) has the same rights as any citizen, ergo the 14th amendment rights will apply. Watch out for the "PREGNANCY POLICE". Let's think of some consequences here: What if a woman is told (in error) that she is pregnant only to find out later that she wasn't. Will she be charged with murder since it is documented that she was? Or what if she miscarried, what means does she do to prove herself innocent of murder? I know this seems like some far fetched circumstances but we do need to consider these possibilities. GAWD I hate this administration and all those radical fundies.

What i want to know is, what are we going to do when some forms, any form of abortion restricting amendments are on the ballot in the same states that had the gay marriage ones? It will be the next wedge issue and it will bring out the Fundy's or anti choice vote, even i fear democratic ones.

but that is not what overturning Roe v. Wade would entail -- Roe v. Wade assures the right to have an abortion -- such rights could, in some states, still be conveyed by legislative acts

15. I see the day that some small town "Barney Fife" drags a traumatized

woman who just experienced an unfortunate miscarriage "downtown" for questioning on 1st degree murder charges.

Maybe if she's only 16 her laywers can get her off with "only" a life sentence.
