Best wishes, and speedy recovery, Elizabeth Edwards
You are a tough lady. You overcame your broken heart when you lost your son, you were determined to - as you were quoted - to bring back joy to your lives and conceived two new, beautiful children.

You joined in the campaign jumping two feet forward. We have seen you campaigning and you could match any other with your knowledge, intelligence, and compassion.

And... you waited a few days, until after the elections were over, to check that lump that was found to be cancerous.

All of us at DU - more than 50,000 strong - are thinking of you and of your family, knowing that you will conquer this turn of events as you have done all your life.

With best wishes and love, a DUer
