My 8 and 11 year olds' protest song

I just had to share it. My smart girls put this together yesterday when they got home from school and realized the race was all over. It's really kind of amazing because it's not like they're saying 'Georgie is a dumbhead' or anything child-like. They hit on some major issues.

The Guy Who's Running Our Country

George Bush only cares about money and wealth,
He doesn't even care about your and my health.
He gives to the rich and steals from the poor,
Tell me the truth, is that we asked for?
If you think and you are strong,
You'll know that W stands for wrong.
He bombs the innocent, mother, father, child,
Please control this president,
He's getting kind of wild!

3. one bright spot in all of this

is that, as my wife and i discussed last night, we may have lost the race, but we DID make it an issue for some people. And obviously, our kids now care a great deal about things. So generationally, I feel like we're winning.

not sure if they have a tune. Seems to me it'd be better as an angry rap, but i'm not sure 8 and 11 year old girls could pull that off!
