Wow, someone just insinuated that I'm a disruptor or a freeper

In the post about someone blowing up at 7/11, I suggested remaining calm, that being angry is fine, and speaking out against this bullshit going on is great.. but physical & verbal abuse is not OK. Several people disagreed.

So this, plus my other posts, makes me a disruptor or a freeper, eh? Real nice. I don't appreciate that at all. This is going too far, I don't care how upset you are... you don't take it out on your FELLOW DEMOCRATS. And this taking place in the "Help & Support" forum... how ironic. I guess I deserved it though, I should've known better than to tell an angry person to calm down. Fine..I can accept that.

i've had that happen. I had a low post count. Some person read all these things into my comments that weren't there and came to the conclusion that I was planted.


I think accusations about people being freepers or disruptors should not be allowed. Click "alert" and let the moderators handle it. This is not cool DU...it's quite hurtful and must stop. This kind of thing makes us appear like the unstable, paranoid haters that we dispise.

I announce my suspicions when I smell freeper--and I would never do it if I wasn't POSITIVE. I mean, I would never call someone that because I was mad at them. But you don't need a keen nose to sniff out most trolls.

The call for "CALM AND RATIONALITY" is a freeper trait vintage 2000, but it's not positive ID. There is usually something else entirely off-the-wall, like some gratuitous Hillary bashing or a Repug talking point. I think it's legitimate to point out rationally based suspicions about posts that contain several of these indicators.

I don't use the alert button; I just write a short, indirect, non-attacking post that indicates my suspicions. This is for the benefit of people who don't understand the discussion format well and are presumably the target audience for trolls.

18. Your premise is flawed. Go back, read my post and come back and

show where I was verbally abusive. Raising ones voice is not verbally abusive. Words can be verbally abusive but I did not direct anything persoanlly towrds the person I was speaking to just herthe ideas she was spouting. Name calling is verbally abusive.
Threatening is verbally abusive. I said what she was saying was stupid and it was.I said what she said was a lie and it was. I did not say you are stupid. The addition of phyical violence when none was mentioned was an attempt to intimidate me and others from speaking out. If that is your role here then just be honest about it.

22. It has happened to me on this forum in the past.

Not everyone, Democrats, etc, is going to always agree on every point. However, there are a lot of people on this forum that use the Salem Witch Hunt method. If you don't agree with me, then you are a witch, or in this case, a Freeper.

It is sad this happens. I chalk it up to ignorant people who can not argue intelligently.
