Well I did it, my own little protest in my front yard, I burned my flag.

I will no longer fly it as long as Rupug thugs control our government. Maybe someday I will feel like displaying the flag again, but I don't think it will be anytime soon.

As I said elsewhere, THEY are the ones who are making a mockery of it. I've never been much of a flag-waver, but I feel I am much more 'American' than a bunch of authoritarian theocrats.

2. BIG MISTAKE

it will only reinforce your local repub neighbors that they were right all along in calling you un-American. Don't fault the flag, but spend the next four years making sure that another election does not get stolen by the oligarchs and evangelists.
