Are the Bush/Cheney signs still out in your area?
It's two days since the election. Around where I live in NW Ohio, virtually all of the signs promoting the local candidates, state candidates and Kerry/Edwards have been removed. However, I'm estimating that a third to one-half of the Bush/Cheney signs are still out.

Enough already! You guys were declared winners (albeit, by the shadiest of circumstances).

Are the B/C signs still out in your area?

1. I have seen many areas where the */Dick signs are down, but the Kerry
Edwards signs (including mine!) are still up. I am still wearing my buttons too. And the signs and stickers are still on my car.
I am waiting for the rest of the votes (I mean ALL THE FUCKING VOTES!!) to be counted.
And then I am waiting for the entire RNC, PNAC, KKKarl Rove-r the Attack Dog, Cheney the Dick, Asscroft, Condosleaza, Dumbsfeld and the Simian Imbecile fucking imprisoned. Send 'em to an overseas sweatshop or something. An slave-laborer's day's work at 12 cents or so might be good for them.

2. Yep. Just saw one on my way to the post office awhile ago.
Flipped it off. Had really bad thoughts. Wanted to shout at the people whose yard the sign was in. Felt my neck start throbbing. Had to control fist of death. Heck, I removed my "Give Bush the Boot" sign from my window. Can't these bozos do as much? Maybe in a few days or weeks when they begin to comprehend just what they have wrought, they'll take 'em down and burn 'em.

5. I saw one when I was driving down my street.
Assholes. Isn't it enough for them they won? Do they have to gloat about it?

6. They didn't win, and they are not gloating: they stole it, same as last
time, and they are trying to convince us to just get over it and get on with it, let the Reich Wing take over and put in place a theocratic dictatorship, it'll be fine, you'll see...
Now back to work, Arbeit Macht Frei and all that.

7. My signs/stickers stay up/on!
This is a tainted election of the worst President in history. My signs/stickers are to remind those who I voted for. We'll be proud to do it, as things continue to fall apart in the Bush Administration.

:kick:

8. Strangely enough I only saw a handful in my neighborhood
and one lone K/E yard sign before the election. I haven't left the house since election day so I don't know if they remain. Given how the repubs love to gloat, I imagine they're still firmly planted.

11. Still a lot of signs and bumper stickers for both candidates here
And I'm going to leave my Kerry/Edwards and Fingerhut bumperstickers on until I find something more timely to replace them.

Curiously, though, the day after the election a few Bush/Cheney signs began to appear in yards that had not sported them before. How contemptible is that?

There are still Shrub/Di** signs up here in Northwestern Tucson, Arizona. I refuse to take down my Democratic bumper stickers from my window. So, I've been getting A LOT of caucasian males who have been tailgating me every day and "talking to themselves" angrily. I see them do that. It's like, KNOCK IT OFF! YOUR PRESIDENT IS IN OFFICE STILL! NO NEED TO FREAKIN' TAILGATE PEOPLE WHO DON'T CONFORM TO YOUR REPUKE IDEALS!!!! So, regardless of these white males in their pick-up trucks (yes, today BOTH tailgaters were white males in pick-up trucks), I am NOT taking the stickers down nor do I think I EVER will.

Let them keep their precious decorated cardboard on sticks all over town. We Democrats can keep our lavishly decorated cars with all our bumper stickers to stick it right at them.

Speaking of cardboard...you know how the Republicans are considered "RED" and not blue? Isn't it sort of dumb to make the Shrubya campaign signs with a BLUE background (the color for Democrats)? Hmm...just flinging questions.

Oh! And I forgot to mention, all of a sudden I've been seeing MORE cars with Shrubya stickers on them. Where were they BEFORE the election? And NOW they're appearing out of their holes where they were hiding like Osama Been Forgotten. All these cars with Shrubya stickers are appearing NOW more than before. Funny...I end up pulling up right next to them and blaring my Rage Against The Machine music so that I can make these people feel uncomfortable. It's quite funny because they REFUSE to look over at you. lol
