I haven't seen any evidence of a big GOP GOTV over the past four years? Anyone else?

that one of our Democratic Unity Group members brought up this morning. He was working for Kerry well before the campaign showed up here, and he said that their lists are NOTHING compared to what the repubs have.
We're meeting this Sunday to start a plan.

3. I did allot of voter registration over the summer. |
|
A good portion of the voters I registered early were gone, moved on, no phone and no forwarding address by the time the election came around. Who knows if they voted or not. Because young, poor, highly mobile voters are difficult to pin down, it might be better to try to get same day voter registration laws passed, especially in red states with dem governors and state legislators. I have read that same day registration ups turn out by more than 10%, it is good for dems and it gives third party candidates a better shot.

They're trying to make us feel that WE failed so we won't say THEY are fascist criminals who have subverted democracy and stolen another election with their rigged machines.
When I see a thread that buys into it, I can't help thinking, "Disinformation?"

7. Ignoring thier amazing political machine is a big mistake. |

If they can rig elections now, that is the reason why they can. They have outorganized our pants off for decades thanks to an unending fountain of corporate money.

6. You have it right. It was stealth, silent, and subersive. |

They know how to fight. But Bush will have to pay the piper soon.
