There's a political discussion on the forum at PenguinMagic... lots of pro-Bushies. I can't figure out why. I think a lot of them are kids (lots of 13-16 yr olds). I know what you're going to say, that doesn't give them an excuse. It doesn't. But I think they are more easily swayed by the media, and less able to look crucially at the facts.

I am getting a little amusement out of this though. I asked them straight out, why exactly did you vote for Bush? No one could answer. Just stupid responses like "HA HA HA HA, BUSH WON!!!" and "Kerry is the biggest flip flopper ever, I'm glad Bush won" (to which I offered to post the long list of Bush flip-flops), and "Kerry is a baby-killer."

I'm gonna PUKE! These people are so backwards. And what really gets me is, these are ARTISTS. Freaking magicians, who have posted stories about religious people accusing them of straying from God for practicing magic. How the hell can they support Bush like this??

Baffling. Simply baffling. Watch me pull a Bushie out of my hat.

Just wait until the theocracy sets in and those stage magician acts are banned, as a gateway to satanism... (Okay, that's a long shot, but then again, is anything too low for these guys?)
