What? Is this sarcasm?! ("The Note")
ABC's "The Note" published a schedule of what they'll be doing. One of the entries says this (asterisks are mine):

<<Wednesday, November 10: Whither David, Elisabeth, Dana, Mike, Dick, Dick, John, Ed, and the rest? *With the Bush White House sure to maintain its fidelity to open government and appreciation for the importance of a rigorous and free press in a thriving democracy,* how will each member of the world's most, er, glamorous beat answer the Clash's immortal question: should they stay or should they go now?>>

Are they kidding? My mouth just dropped open when I saw it.

Okay, that's it; in addition to the TV, I'll avoid these Web sites as well whenever I can help it.

3. Talking heads...
they are caught between the phenomena that is Faux News and the number of zeros in their yearly contract.

No help there.

5. This is subtle
This whole article is about debunking politicians and oddness in politics. These guys are not the FOX and CNN of the world. This could be an interesting group to watch.

7. Of course its sarcasm.
Even the most conservative journalists/pundits know (and some will even admit!) that this is one of the most secretive administrations in recent history.

8. Definatly sarcasm
The Note guy loves to make little jokes through his thing.

He named a whole bunch of, shall we say, troublesome reporters for the Bush White House.

10. Is the main guy Mark Halperin?
I didn't recognize the reporter first names, unless one of them is David Gregory.

The only other troublesome reporter for him I know about is Helen Thomas.
