Bush won this election on one issue only, he told the American people, I will protect you, Kerry won't. He used 9/11 throughout his convention and campaign, he ignored every other issue affecting the American people as he had no leg to stand on, whether it be record deficits, job losses or the health care crisis . The American people, especially many in the uneducated red counties fell hook, line and sinker for the fear mongering of Karl Rove and his Republican party. They literally scared half the American people into voting for Bush.

Winning an election after an event like 9/11 is almost impossible, we must continue fighting and not give up.
