What is wrong with everyone. Why when we are the good guys they make it seem like we are the bad guys?
First let me say that I believe under the circumstances John Kerry did extremely well in this election. I feel the election was lost due to the brainwashing of Americans particularly in the southern regions of the United States that Democrats are not “good”. People in the blue states did not oppose this president for his morality. They opposed this president for his immorality. We opposed this president for the war in Iraq, 15 million children falling into poverty, millions losing jobs, millions losing healthcare and his reckless disregard for the environment.
I really hope that this message does not fall on deaf ears because so little was done to counter Karl Rove’s master plan to brainwash Christians. I only suggest you read the cover of my book’s title “The Religion Of Bush”(Cross-dressing as a patriotic man of god) when the next set of elections come around. I guess you don’t have to now but you see my point.
May this email find you happy and well,

http://www.vinnievin.com/ PS:Here is a letter I sent to the Archbishop of Denver as a concerned Catholic: ( To be fair his Excellency he told me “don’t believe everything you hear.” And sent me articles he spoke on about Iraq, the poor and the death penalty. But I believe the same applies to Rev. Faldwell and Pat Robertson.)
Dear Archbishop Chaput,
I admire you and I think if you said that you shouldn't vote for either candidate I would understand. But I think that as a good Catholic you have to look at the whole picture. And even if it is just because you want to show the world that the U.S.A.(the people) is not as bad as the administration you should as a good Catholic vote for Kerry in my opinion. The free will issue aside a Catholic should have compassion for the poor, want everyone to have health care, worry about children living in poverty and be against an unjust war.I also personally feel that the best way to change hearts is not to take a political position if you are a man of the cloth. Of course you should advise and make people realize what is the right course to take but a render on to Caesar what is Caesar's approach not only shows the difference between the divine and the worldly but the converse approach projects an Orwellian society.
I respectfully disagree with you and hope you would at least make an argument for all issues of the church in your next editorial.
I remain your humble servant and a humble servant of the church,
Vinnie Vin
