1. I Google-searched that phrase. |
|
and I came up with a few hits. Here's one which quotes portions from it: http://www.ajc.com/news/content/news/1104/05bush.htmlpnorman

3. Even worse was his insistence that the press was now subject |
|
to a one-question rule.
When some guy tried to do a follow-up question after Bush glibly ducked his first question, King George literally taunted him: "That's more than one question. Didn't you just hear me tell you there was a one-question rule? Don't you understand that is the will of the people?"
The Daily Show ran a much lengthier segment from this press conference than any of the "news" networks I've seen, and Stewart, of course, was appalled. Ironic isn't it, a fake news show doing a more thorough job of passing along the news than the news networks.
It was a truly frightening scene. To the press members that have given him a pass on so much shit the last four years - I hope you enjoy the monster you have spawned. You deserve it, but the rest of us deserve better.

6. I agree with your last sentiment. |
|
I don't feel the lest bit sorry for those media clowns. They seem to have enjoyed his abuse over the last four years.

9. Not only not look at this arrogant little man, his voice and |
|
speech tone make me ashamed to be an American citizen. He is a living cartoon with his little finger on the trigger.

10. I only saw the Daily Show clips |
|
as I really can't stomach watching him. He was even more cocky and arrogant. I'm hoping Michael Moore is right and his arrogance will be his downfall.

13. from his photo op - does this guy ever work? |
|
In the election of 2004, large issues were set before our country. They were discussed every day on the campaign. With the campaign over, Americans are expecting a bipartisan effort and results. I'll reach out to everyone who shares our goals. And I'm eager to start the work ahead. I'm looking forward to serving this country for four more years.
Yeah, chimpass is gonna be unifying. You don't have to fucking reachout to people who already share your goals you fucking, lying, treasonous, murdering asshole!

huffing and puffing I couldn't help but wonder how many people saw this display and wished they had their vote back. He did not seem like such a "nice guy" to "have a beer with" anymore. He was scary, and still, the media kisses his ass. By the way, where was Helen Thomas?
