It's the lies, stupid
I just kind of noticed, we aren't talking about the lies. Carville said they told a great story and we weren't able to put our platform into a story.

Bullshit. It's the lies. It's been the lies since at least 2000, the Bushies being worse than anything I've ever seen. It isn't really any of this other crap they want to look at. It's just the lies, they lie and get away with it. We have to figure out how to stop it.

1. How about WE SAY THEY LIE?
The closest John Kerry ever did was saying "I'm a candidate who will tell you the truth."

It would be nice if the MSM would point out their lies
As if, :eyes: Why do we continue to work our collective asses off and then are left twisting in the wind by our "leaders" and virtually everyone else?

2. "Bush lied?"
"Oh come on now. Bush is a good Christian man. He wouldn't lie to me."

I'm not psychic, but I think that's what goes through a lot of people's minds when you tell them that BushCo is a bunch of compulsive liars.

3. What was the story?
I inherited a recession and then we got attacked and I passed No Child Left Behind and the partial-birth abortion ban - which, by the way, is brutal practice (did I mention it's a brutal practice?) - and freedom is on the march and I am the man? Pretty lame story if you ask me.

5. Here's some truth -- Carville can go fuck himself
The goddamn election was stolen -- KERRY WON.

We are not fundamentalist christians -- and we are not going to turn ourselves into GOP lite.

And by the way his taste women really sucks -- his wife is an ugly slut.

Carville -- if you are reading this -- get your head out of your ass and work for paper ballots -- don't lecture us when we WON.

We did nothing wrong -- WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON.

I hate messages like this from idiots who are in major denial -- there is NO way in HELL that any Presidential election and ANY can be won EVER again until the votes are counted -- this means paper ballots.

We are going to lose the next elections and senators just like Georgia lost their senator in 2002 due to Black Box Voting.

COUNT THE GOD DAMNED VOTES -- don't lecture us about "message" sheeech

8. I was just watching some roundtable on C-SPAN
And a Democratic "strategist" started talking about how people had voted against their own interests...the Republican next to him started interrupting and railing about how "condescending" and "outrageous" it was to infer that Americans are so stupid.
The Democratic strategist couldn't get a word in edgewise and didn't know how to combat it.
The way to combat that is simple:
You say "the American people voted against their own interest."
They sputter about how condescending they are.
You say "It's not condescension. You are all just extremely good liars who've managed to appeal to the fears of Americans and you have a machine in place to drown out dissenting views."

9. I know. I would shit my pants if a DEM spoke that kind of truth on TV.
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 05:38 AM by Dr Fate
When are fucking DEM spokespeople & politicians gonna just start telling it exactly like it is? What the fuck are they afraid of?

10. Exactly
Especially now. What the fuck are they afraid of? We have nothing more to lose now.
If I were in the House or Senate right now, I would just start telling the unvarnished truth EVERY SINGLE TIME I opened my mouth on the floor, and then abstain from any vote so they can't blame the Dems for being obstructionist. What's the worst that could happen? I might get voted out??
OMG!

To be a Democrat is Congress right now is to be insignificant anyway, so they might as well just find their souls and their voices and start speaking out.
If the Dems did something that radical, over and over again, the media would be all over it, and just maybe some of America might begin to wake up.

The way I see it, of course this election was rigged, just like the last one, but they only got away with it because the country is so evenly divided. We have got to change that. The simple truth, spoken again and again, might just start that ball rolling.
