1. Should it be John Kerry? |

I like Barack Obama but he'll be too new.

2. It should be Dick Durbin: Illinois is the bluest of the blue |
|
Illinois is the capital of the Midwest, an area which we need back. Dick Durbin is a strong leader with a backbone. It's the perfect combo. It will probably be Reid from Nevada though. Oh well, I guess we will have another weak kneed red stater lose in a couple of years....

3. No, contact your Dem senators, or any other senators for that matter. |
|
Let them know that you do NOT want a swing or red-state Dem senator for either Senate Minority Leader or Whip, specifically because we cannot afford our leader to have one hand tied behind his back to fight for our cause because he has to court Repukes to get re-elected.
This is very important if the Democratic Party is going to weather the storm. And I'm serious. You let your senators know how you feel, and we won't have to deal with another Daschle.
www.senate.gov It really couldn't be simpler to contact them.
Good luck.
PM me if you just want to copy and paste the letters I've already sent.
