We're 900,000 down now.

How much less will the new jobs created pay? We're down $9000 now.

How much more will the middle class shrink? We're down 20% now.

how many more uninsured? We're down 5 million now.

This is class warfare and we are getting our asses kicked.

3. I've become incredibly bitchy -- and have no sympathy for
dumb ass stupid people.

I don't know if this is just temporary or a personality change due to a horrible shock -- sort of like getting a brick to my frontal lobes or something.

4. 2 news stories, one right before and one right after Junior's re-selection
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 05:17 AM by Bush_Eats_Beef
Both were posted and discussed on DU and should be pretty easy to find via the search function for those who want them.

1). Within a week prior to the election, a story over how IT / IS firms in India were "worried" about the election between pro-outsourcing Bush and anti-outsourcing Kerry.

2). Immediately following election: "India celebrates re-election of Bush" (that's not the actual headline if you're searching).

The folks who follow outsourcing news via DU may also remember that several months before the election there were stories of American companies that had put aggressive outsourcing plans "on hold" until after November 2nd. Bush helped THEM by not standing in the way of their efforts to date, they returned the favor by sitting on any controversial moves during campaign season.

Several hinted that they had job exports planned which eclipsed any conducted to date...higher numbers, more often, more aggressive, less apologetic about it if we entered the second reign of King George. Let's not forget HP CEO Carly Fiorina's 2004 edict to the working class: "It is no longer your God-given right to have a job." Let's also not forget that Ms. Fiorina has been a faithful contributor to the campaigns of George W. Bush. Starting to see a pattern here?

Class warfare? No, 2000-2004 was just the WARM-UP.

On edit: spelling correction.

5. He will probably have a paltry gain of about 4.8 million jobs
Not even close the Clinton's 22.6 million or Reagan's 16.1 million jobs.

6. and what % of the new jobs will be due to Enron style bookkeeping?
These idiots are telling us that the exit polling data is wrong -- yet they figured out how to shave votes here and add votes there to give bushie the popular vote.

They are skilled at manipulating numbers

However with each outsourced job and each person who has to take a lower paying job -- less taxes are paid.

The tax paying base is shrinking -- just at a time when corporate taxes are being reduced and taxes paid by the very very rich are reduced and non-earned income taxes are being decreased (dramatically I am told).

On top of that add the news that bushie wants more wars -- his current 2 aren't enough -- he wants more wars.

I wonder when these facts will hit the dumb shits who voted for him?

7. Whatever worthwhile jobs that are left.
My husband and I are clinging on to an automotive industry job...Detroit's fast becoming a ghost town. You should see all of the industrial buildings up for lease.

8. Makes you go Hmmmm. . .
Armstrong World Industries Plant over in my neck of the woods
just announced closing. Hundreds will lose jobs before Thanksgiving.

The plant is in Lancaster County, a Bush stronghold.

Those people have gotten their just deserts.

But it's comforting to know that those damned gays can't get married. That'll pay the bills.

10. I have this picture in my mind.
Osama Bin Laden standing beneath a "Mission Accomplished" banner in four years telling his "base."

"Mission accomplished. Their jobs are gone, their social safety net dismantled and they're bankrupt."
