The Holy-Rollers Meet Every Wednesday Night & Twice on Sunday. |

That is some focus to be admired, actually. Probably why they won too- they stick together and they stay connected. It's not hard to find'em or get in touch with them!
Do we need a schedule like Church people have??? O8)

That's what we have to replicate. Local networks to replace our traditional base of unions that can compete with these fundie churches.

The real driving force behind Democratic organizing was the Meet-Up. If you're already involved in a group, stay involved. If you're not involved in a Meet-Up. Find one.
It's only one evening per month, and you'll get to spend it with people who hate this Administration just as much as you do.

5. Can somebody tell me what electoral organizing was done in churches? |
|
That is the real political story this year. Personally, the only connection I have with Protestantism was going to service at the Methodist church who sponsored my Boy Scout troop decades ago. (Before the homophobic transformation, but I digress).
Has anybody found any reporting on this? Did it cross the line of what a nonprofit organization should do? (duh) I am sure that they did not attempt to present a balanced presentation of all the issues or even the truth about Kerry's record.

any better or more resolute...they are bored and church fills that void.
In my area...there was a 40 day fast (america for jesus) of all the churches until NOV 2nd...tell me in those churches they werent guided to vote for bush.....but having said that...the black churches did the same thing.
I think all of them should lose the tax exemption. Make it across the board.

Compliments of Diebold and vote shaving. The fundies were at home on Tuesday watching porn just like every other Tuesday. The fundies voting for *God is the fucking biggest load of pants. YMMV.
