What a disrespectful, moronic little man he really is
Arggggggggggggggghhh....All through the campaign, dubya always referred to Sen. Kerry as "his opponent". I got so damned sick and tired of hearing it, I thought I would let out one huge primal scream.

Then in his so-called acceptance speech, this little puke says he wants to reach out to "all those that voted for my opponent"??? WTF? I don't give a rats ass who writes his crappy speeches, but why in the hell can't he show some kind of respect and speak Sen. John Kerry's name??? What the hell is this POS afraid of??

I am seething over this. It may seem like small potatoes or nitpicking - call it what you will. But in all the moronic, stupid, thieving, lying things that have come out of that asshole's mouth, he never once actually spoke Kerry's name that I am aware of. And I think that, in and of itself, speaks volumes about the so-called moral character of bush and his entire administration. They have absolutely no respect for anyone!

Thank you, my rant is now over.

2. He's like the main character from Pink Floyd's "The Wall"
Underneath all that buffoonish posturing is a crazed, frightened little man.

15. Imperious too
I've always called him an "Imperious Little Prick". OF course most of his supporters have no idea what imperious means.....

I can't believe I have to see and hear him for another four years- what did I do to deserve this??????

6. It's a very calculated move...
meant tho diminish Kerry. His father did it in the run up and during the first Iraq war, calling Saddam Hussein, "Sad - em " In that part of the world, mispronouncing a man's name is a huge disrespect. And he continued.

Petty arrogant bastards.

12. that's right
It's a conscious attempt to dehumanize the Kerry supporters. Note that in his public statements about "reaching out" as part of a national reconciliation, Bush states he will reach out "to those who share our goals," and his advisors say his "arms are only so long," and that others must reach out, too.

Those who supported Kerry do not share Bush's goals. The president is being vile and mean-spirited. He is ruthless. This requires his being able to not only depersonalize people in his mind, but in the "general public's." How else can these "christians" turn their backs on the suffering they have caused to the children of Iraq?

Bush can't do names of more than one syllable.

8. It's been my experience that in political rivalries, it's commonplace to
... minimize and demonize your "opponent". To try to make him or her seem as isolated, mechanical and non-human as possible.

10. Despite his obvious failures
he's extremely high on himself , doesn't even entertain that his pov could be wrong, that he's a fuck-up, and his competitive nasty streak doesn't allow for him to see his opponents as anything more than an obstacle to be torn down. He dehumanizes in his mind anyone that opposes him, you can see that in his eyes. Kerry is/was afterall 'against him'. That's why I've always found him creepy. There is only George W. Bush at the center of the universe he perceives, he's a cold sociopath and megalomaniac and now that he's 'won' a presidential election he will see it as true validation and an unquestionable mandate from God and will be 10 fold worse than before.

11. If you look in his eyes, you won't see concern or
mercy for anybody, just blankness. He has shown self-pity, but for everybody else, it's punshment and revenge that he's after.

16. One small bright part in the next four years.....
Many have noted that Bush's physical & mental abilities (while never impressive) have markedly deteriorated in the last few years.

Let's watch the lame duck decay as all his allies begin fighting among themselves (PNAC versus Christian Reconstructionist, etc.)

And, will he have that physical now? Will we get to hear the results?

19. NO, GEORGE, YOU WILL NEVER BE MY PRESIDENT! ..a must read
NO, GEORGE, YOU WILL NEVER BE MY PRESIDENT!

AN EXPLANATION FROM TVNEWSLIES.ORG
Nov.2004

No, it’s not what you think, George. It’s not that you managed to win this time around. No, it’s not that at all. It’s not about sour grapes, George, and it’s not about anger. You just can’t be my President, George. No way.

Good speech writers, George – all that stuff about being a President for all the people- and those heartfelt appeals for togetherness. Nice touch. But, you just can’t be my President, George, I’m sorry, but that’s the way it is.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not about your failed policies, I could survive them. It’s not about your arrogance or your inability to see the error of your ways. I could deal with that for another four years. It’s not even about your right wing ideology or your faith driven narrow mindedness. Heck, we’re a pluralistic society, and we can agree to disagree. It’s not that at all.

It’s not even about the lies. Politicians lie, and some of them even manage to lie about really important things. I could hope you’d mend your ways and tell the truth from now on. So, it’s not about the lies. Much as I abhor a liar, that’s not it. It really isn’t.

It’s not about your medieval attitude toward stem cell research, George, or a woman’s right to choose. It’s not about your archaic views about gay marriage or your dangerous disdain for the environment. It’s not even that. It’s not even about your being in bed with the NRA or the pharmaceutical companies. You’re not the first, and you won’t be the last to do that. No, George, that’s not why you won’t pass muster. It really isn’t.

So what is it, then? Do you really want to know? Do you really care why you cannot, - I repeat – cannot be my president, - not now and not ever? Do you really want to understand why I openly and defiantly refuse to accept you as my President? Do you, really, George? No, you don’t. But I’ll tell you anyway...
